This, our only twin-bedded room, is named for a colorful Ligurian fishing village depicted in the painting that hangs above the room's handsome chest of drawers. The chest is Louis XIV; the extra-long beds, with high head- and footboards, are late 19th. Tones of burgundy and rich brown in the settee and Turkish rug are set off against leaf-green walls, which echo the lush gardens overlooked by one of the windows. The room's spacious bathroom, with a full bath / shower and ample cabinets, is immediately next door, and entirely private.
